This Saturday, SDNYC will join Equality NY, Lambda Independent Democrats, Jim Owles Liberal Democratic Club, and other groups TBA at the Women's March on New York City. In marching on Saturday, SDNYC is seeking to highlight the many priorities championed by both the LGBTQI Community and the Women's Rights Movement and to re-enforce our deeply held belief that our voices are loudest and our advocacy most effective when diverse stakeholders work collaboratively to demand equality and respect for all. Draft SDNYC Constitution & Bylaw Amendment Proposal

SDNYC is contemplating amending the Club's constitution and bylaws to better align these governing documents with the Club's priorities and practices.

Note -- all proposed amendments are considered draft until approved by the SDNYC Board. If approved, SDNYC members in good standing* will vote on the proposed revised constitution at the next SDNYC  meeting scheduled for January 25, 2017 at 8pm the LGBT Center.

Mr. Blake has also been an incredible ally, working with communities across the country ensure their voices were heard in the White House.  "Assemblymember Michael Blake is a voice we need at the DNC," said Eunic Ortiz, President of the Stonewall Democratic Club of NYC.
